A Fun Smith Easter!!!

HAPPY EASTER TO ALL!!! It was a great day at the Smith ranch! We were able to get to town & go to church (as the creek wasn't quite as flooded as had thought it would be the night before...) So this is Lincoln & Colby when we got home from church ~ couple of good lookin' kids, if I do say so myself!!!
Cassidy & Luke ~ holding little 'Squirt' on this Easter morning!
Colby Sue holding her favorite little 8 month old cousin ~ baby Christopher! What a sweetie!
Here we go back to the night before ~ as we are doing our traditional egg dying - everybody gets involved!
It was a fun time! Colby's friend, Kimi, was here to share the weekend with us too!
These 2 were real good sports as they posed one more time for Mom!
(I somehow got this pic on here twice & couldn't figure out how to remove one without starting the whole process over! So here they are again!!!)
25 people spent the day on Easter at our house, starting with the noon meal about 1:00. This pic is of supper ~ the little girls requested the presence of these older girls at their special little table for the supper meal! Good friends were made between the ages!
At the noon meal it was Kieth who got to sit with the special little ladies! Special memories were made all day!
Here we have Great Grandma watching great granddaughters color pictures in the afternoon
The little bit older girls were continuing the tradition of playing "Sweet Valley High" on Easter afternoon! A new generation even got into it this year! (Do you see that Lindsay, Larissa, & Lariannn?!?) Fun!!!
There was also ping pong in the basement to be played... running races for the real little ones back there ...
The guys shot a lot of pool ... here is Dustin lining up his shot. Cooper is intently watching
Those guys seem to have a really good time whenever they are together! The pool shooting seems to have been pretty fun!!! Lincoln shoots here
Tucker shoots as Dustin & Lincoln watch from the side & Jason looks to see what the littlest ones are up to!
It was a very fun day! Thanks to all the family that spent the day with us out here in the muddy mess of all the rain & snow that seems to keep on coming this calving season! A very nice break for my guys who have been just to the corrals & around here for the past month, fighting nature's elements!!!
We thank God daily for all the blessings He has given to all of us ~ this was just another day to make us even more aware of what all those blessings are! The only dampening of the day was that Chancie had to work, so she & Aaron were unable to join us :(

It looks like you all had a wonderful time! Two years of working Easter is enough and next year I will put up a fight!! haha! I love you all and wish I could have been there.

Looks like you all had a wonderful Easter! I am ashamed that I did not play Sweet Valley this year. It didn't even feel like Easter. I am glad the girls played for me! Looks like Cylver even started! The next generation...

Love ya!
