Colby's Winter Sport this year!

So, Colby decided this year that she really didn't enjoy playing basketball very much last year, so she would try out a new winter sport... she decided to be a wrestling manager!

Here she is at her first tourney - learning the ropes from the other manager.

Then she was keeping book by herself at the same tourney, as we had guys wrestle at the same time on different mats!

Part of her job is to present the Scottie place winners with their medal & a hug on the awards stand!

This was then at the big tourney in Rapid City on the 2nd week.

Here again she is on her own - she got the hang of things pretty quickly!

2 weeks ago we were at the 'Little B' tourney in Parkston - yes, we still follow the wrestlers around the state - you can't just abandon 'family' like our wrestling boys!

This past weekend we were at the State B Duals in Wagner - here she is intent on a match.

What do you suppose those 2 are looking so closely at?

The Philip Area Scotties placed 3rd at the Duals this year! It was a great day for wrestling! We got our money's worth, that's for sure! (The parents' gathering the night before was awfully fun too!!!:)
