Today was the high school music contest - in Murdo - for our kids. Colby was in 4 things & she just did SO GOOD!!! She received Superiors (I)s on all 4 of her entries. Here is before her vocal solo - it just amazes me how her voice has matured over the past year! Yes, my baby is growing up!!!
Then she played her saxophone - & played it very well, I might add! Was fun to listen to!
She and her friend Emily sang a duet that was beautiful! Event he judge commented on how well their voices blend! Here they are just messing around before they sang! Posing like they are really getting into their music!!!
The All State chorus kids also sang a song together at the end of the day & they also sounded amazing! Colby sings the alto part. It was a really fun day! I rode the bus with the kids & the director, so it was an early morning, but busy & very enjoyable! I only have one more year of going to listen to one of my children compete in the music contest! :(Deb
