NSU Season is Over

Well, this smiling image of Lincoln standing in the sun in his NSU football uniform is not of today. They just got done playing their last game of the season in Aberdeen with 35 mph winds & some snow on the field & it looked VERY COLD!!! It was Senior Day so he did not see much playing time today - I don't know that he played any defense (but he could have & I just didn't see it), but I think I saw him on a kick receive team at least once, they were playing all the seniors today - I only got to SEE about the 2nd half as my computer was giving me fits - but I listened to it on the radio for the first half. They played Augustana. The score at half time was 13 - 7 Augie. The final score was 43-7 Augie... I'm sure Lincoln is just glad this season is over & hopefully they can revamp & get revved up for a brand new season next year. He actually had a lot of good playing time in the games, so should not feel bad about his play at all this year. But I'm sure it's tough to be on a team that went 1 & 10 for the season.

Well, soon I am off to watch Colby play in the championship of the District volleyball - have to travel to Murdo to watch them play White River. We just had some fuel delivered & he said the road is now open to the highway, so that will be good!
