Look what we have now!!!!!! I have been SO looking forward to the day that the stairway railing would be finished & now it is in!!! And it really does look SO nice! Makes for a really nice entry to the house!
This afternoon Kieth helped me to stain it all & we got it all stained in 2 hours!!! Mel helped a little with it too. It still needs varnished & I will start on that tomorrow - but I just love it already! I thought I would & now I know I do!!!
This was this afternoon when Mel had just got done with all the building of the staircase & if you look closely you can see Kieth actually up there starting to stain! I was certainly thankful for the help with that job! Mel has done such a nice job with all the finishing work - just the little detail that he puts into everything - it's really nice. The carpet guys will be back a week from today - next Monday to finish up the floors on Monday & Tuesday. So we have this week left to try to finish up the small jobs that still need done. Then there is State volleyball Thursday - Sat. and all the things that go with getting ready for that... Quite a busy week here!!!
