This was out the south windows.
Then we were out of electricity for a few hours, & got it back. At 10:30 PM on Wed. it went out again & we didn't get it back till 8:00PM on Thursday. And I know there are several that didn't get it back then yet. ALOT of poles went down. I sure do admire those guys who go out in that nasty weather to get us all up & going as soon as possible! Kieth had brought a generator down & we hooked the pellet stove up to that (& the coffee pot!!!) right away Thursday morning. Then by Thursday afternoon we hooked up 2 lamps to it too so we could continue to read. So it wasn't too bad. Except that even with the pellet stove going it was pretty darn cold in here with that awful wind! Oh, & while it was raining we found 2 new leaks in the ceiling of this old house right in the little living room! But it really doesn't even bother me now!!! How about that?!
The Philip volleyball team was to play in the District championship game on Thursday night in Murdo against White River. Of course that had to be postponed - they set it for tonight & now that has been postponed till tomorrow night.
We had planned to go to Aberdeen tomorrow to see Lincoln's last football game of this season. But I think maybe that will have to be cancelled:( Dog-gone-it!
Weather can sure have a determining factor on your plans can't it?!?
Well, I hope to varnish the 2nd coat on some doors this afternoon, but better get some warm soup made for the guys for dinner now! Hope you all fared ok in all of this!

I do miss snow on the plains!!! As soon as I get my pics back I'll e-mail them to you. I was able to get home today but wont be able to park at the house for a LONG time! The drifts are still over 6-7 ft tall on either side of the street and in the driveway! There is no where for the snow to go. I'm glad that everyone there has power again!
