Lincoln is off to College

Lincoln & his new roommate - Korey (a guy we like alot) - on Monday when they were moved in.
Lincoln & Deb after the moving in process was almost complete. Notice how the guys' beds even go together! These 2 were shots taken from by the windows.
Now it is time to start to relax a little bit! This shows the window half of the room. Pretty good sized rooms actually. Chancie, do you recognize the carpet?
We had a little going-away supper for Lincoln on Sunday. Grandpa & Grandma & Tate came to share it with us. I tried my hand at prime rib that night - it tasted very good but I cooked it a little too long - I'll do better next time!
Here is the water tower that you can see from the practice field. I thought a water tower was a good way to end this post - as I could have about filled that thing on my drive home! I did OK till I was out of town, but then it came on & wouldn't really stop for 2 hours! But he has called home a few times since I got home on Tuesday & things are going good. They had team meetings all day yesterday. They started practicing actually today & had to do some timed 300s. They got to run them twice & their time was their average - he was quite concerned about this. Each guy had a different time they had to make - he called a few minutes ago & reported that he made his time with his average so he is good to go! Was pretty relieved with that!
Well, that is about all I will go on about on that subject for now! Hope everybodys' week is going good!
