This week they are getting the sheet rock put up on the 2nd story ceilings! That big hose is for blowing in the insulation - to me it looks like BIG, HUGE, WORMS winding up the stairs!
You can see where the canned lights will be here in the sitting area at the top of the stairs. (and lots of feet of the big, huge, worms!!!)
This is of in the attic above the ceiling - a lot of blown in fiberglass insulation - wouldn't want to roll around in that stuff!
Look! Real ceilings! How exciting! Now I've got to study all those paint samples & try to decide on what all colors I want to paint these many areas!!! More decisions...
They put up one of the 6 pillars (8") that will be on the front patio so we could see how they will look! I am going to try to paint them to look like they are marble - I've seen some done that way & they look really cool - we'll see how close I get when I learn how to do that! We are really going to like the look that the covered porch with the pillars, gives to the house!Deb
