This takes us back a week - last weekend - there were 25 of us on tubes tied together floating down the peaceful Niobrara River by Valentine, NE. Here you can see that Kieth was quite relaxed! Colby is off in the background too!
Many other groups were enjoying the river that day too - including a group that displayed a pirates' flag & was consuming large amounts of beverages along the way!!! Our young boys stood on the bridge & watched them float on by here - they were something to watch! Having a grand time!!!
Things seem to have gotten a little too relaxed here so Kieth got Colby's attention - want to try out the river Colby???
We banked the tubes & hiked back in to "Smith Falls" - 'the Largest Waterfall in Nebraska' according to the sign! All of us Smiths that were there posed for a photo by 'our' Falls!!! (I did feel pretty bad that after all the years we have been trying to make this trip work, the year it finally did work was when Lincoln could not go with us - as he had been at football practices at college for 2 weeks before this already - & we went with the families of HIS friends! I am really sorry about that Linc!)
By the end of the float - about 6 hours later (we took our own sweet time about it!) - Kieth again must have thought things were too docile & he roused up a little excitement - want to get cooled off Luralynn?!?! It was a very fun weekend - very relaxing & lots of great visiting with great friends!!!And now it's been a crazy busy week since we got home on Sunday evening! And now it is the next weekend already tomorrow!!! CRAZY!!! We have our 1st football game tomorrow & our 1st volleyball game on Sat! Never slow down!!!

looks like fun! when we went it was cold, and not to fun...because it was sooo cold and rainy! i think next time we'll have to take kieth to livin' it up!
